Working for a friend away from home doing manual work.....de-mossing a huge roof.

Nice to come back to a cool shower but the temperature on board is feisty hot. Normally on hols we would be out and about but my bones ache too much to leave the sauna. Oh well, I have cold beer.

Deepest Surrey.
Sauna is the onboard temperature!
This time next year we will be in the deepest Lofotens.

Use path clear with a watering can on the roof.
To finish get some two pack epoxy and add copper powder then paint on top ridge tiles or highest point if sloppy roof,or fit a copper wire with brackets hanging about 6 inch above ridge, the paint will last about 10 years and the wire a life time,no more moss.

We thoroughly enjoyed a fortnight over there a couple of years ago -- one of the most beautiful places on Earth IMO.

Used a hoe and a broom.
Finished off with a petrol air blower.
Bungalow roof with flat tiles and easy walking angle.

Why would you not want the moss to return? Moss is money.

Hence the mossypossy?! Guess the clue is in the name... :lol-049::p :)

Get a cheap Metal plasterers float great for taking moss off flat tiles. If you can spray with a strong bleach a couple of days before you scrape it’ll just fall off.

Trying a week of liveaboard?

That's basically a week away in the motorhome innit?
