Hi I have this water heater/ blown air heater in my van it works fine on water but the heating works intermittently it comes on for a minute or two and the clicks on and off for a few minutes and then goes of the fan is running freely but just won’t stay on.
Any ideas or where to take it to be fixed there is a Truma place in Derbyshire anybody used them.

After several fruitless attempts by dealers to solve a problem with my Truma I went to their headquarters near Uttoxeter. Very nice place and had excellent service and value there. Certainly would recommend them. Truma Service Centre

Here’s a copy of an email I received from Truma with contact details which may be helpful to you.

Pat

Thank you for your email. If your boiler is functioning normally there is no need to have it serviced. Please click on the link below for the operating guide for the C6002EH which may be useful;

If you do have any problems with the operation of your appliance, please contact your local service centre.

Hi Annie. I was very lucky and got an appointment within a week, but I think that's quite unusual. Maybe take the May date in case it can't be sorted by then, you could always cancel it.

Yes I have booked it in cheers now I just need to ge my Michelin tyres sorted

Read a recent post somewhere that a Truma blown air heating system kept switching off, the fault was traced to a bunged up thermostat i.e it was full of dust, once cleaned it all worked fine again, might be worth a quick check if you can get to the back of your temperature control easily.

Have you tried to disconnect the power from it and leaving it for a few minuets before reconnecting , I remember reading something like this and that cured it

Done that several times even had Admin poking around in the fan and that didn’t work either.

That's my theory also,I would check the room sensor first and the wired connections at the back of it.

Thats good but a pity as it could have been a quick fix. Scratch head again.

No consolation but previous MH had same blow air heating and I found it ran the batteries down very quickly, mainly I suspect that although there was good life in the batteries, the under voltage sensor in the Truma tripped. Now have a MH with gas convector and the option of blow air.

Hope you resolve

The Truma goes through the normal start up system (like any other boiler) and if any of the safety devices are not working, the red light comes on as it shuts down after timing out. If you are not getting a red light warning, it may be a wiring fault or a Printed Circuit Board fault (if one is fitted)

Just realised that I have been calling the heating system a Trauma ...thought it was an odd name! Or maybe not!:rolleyes2:
