Does any of our clever electic experts on here know if a truma 12v thermostat will work on a 12v propex blown heating system ?

Normally it should work if you have the connections right

this could be the problem,,,there are 3 wires from the thermostat,,,blue,,brown,,black.. there is also a 3 position switch,,,which i think is on,,off,,and automatic,,,i have wired the propex to an on/off switch which works well but i have no way to regulate the heat,,,so i need to know if this thermostat will work and what wires go where ?.

Blue and brown are the current wires in (- and +) for the thermostat. The black wire should be connected at the + of the heater. 3 position switch is indeed for OFF, ON and automatic. On ON and automatic you should have current in the black wire. For automatic you can set in an the temperature (at least on mine). Hope this works out ?
