Truma heater

Our truma heater cover rattles really badly when we are on the move (poor dog gets super stressed by it!) and works its way loose - seems to be a common problem but any ideas how to sort it out?? many thanks Lisa

Stop ya rattling ?

Look to what holds ' cover ' on ??? screws ? then if they haven't the tiny split/ or teethed washers,...fit them?
Or use a little thread lock (in a tube ) or even a little silicone, either on the threads or in little dabs on rim of cover,...to ' seal' it to unit ?

Try doing a search on the forum. I seem to remember this subject coming up in the past. You might get your answer. ;)

Had the same problem. Ended up taking the front off to see if anything was loose. Nothing was. Put the front back on tight. Then realised some of the louvres on the grill were touching the cast main body of the heater. So I just bent them down and away slightly with my fingers and hey presto, no rattle. It had been driving me mad for months. Mind you I had to have my wife drive round while I layed on the floor with my ear to the heater to discover that was it. Might be worth a try.
