Truma Aventa Comfort Aircon fault

Hi all,
Using the van as extra space for Christmas and have noticed that the aircon isn't working. There's a constant red light on that according to the manual indicates a fault. Can't be much wrong with it, it's only been used a handful of times. Bad timing as we're off to Spain on 4th Jan and the warranty expires whilst we're out there. Just wondered whether anyone might say that it there's an easy fix? If not, hopefully Brownhills will note it as a fault within the warranty period and fix it when I get back in April?
Merry Christmas

Thanks Channa, it was worth a try but sadly no change.

Not a happy bunny system then and in truth could be 101 things, just a thought Truma themselves not far away from you might be worth a call they have their own workshops. or perhaps give you a clue to what it could be a lot of faults are common...is the fault both on cooling and heating ?Also are you preety much parked flat this unit has a 8 percent tolerance,

Yes, 100% flat on the drive Channa. The aircon has been off since I last used it about a year ago. I noticed the red light on, so I tried to switch it off but the remote won't do anything. I tried disconnecting from mains but as soon as it was reconnected the red light was back on. Thanks again for the advice, if I don't get anywhere joy from Brownhills I'll try the factory.
