Luckily there is a shop straight across the road from our house, especially when its Valentines day the 14th, 'er birthday the 22nd, our wedding anniversary on the 2nd Mar... so I was able to buy a 'job lot' yesterday evening, before 9pm..:dance:

We've been at work together all night! (oh the romance) We own a chippy so done enough cooking today, he'll have to settle for some horizontal dancing :shag: :lol-053:

This may explain the large number of single women in stoke on trent lol

Just remember that for those of us that feel upset that nobody loves us on Valentines Day-there are 364 more days in the year when nobody loves us either! There-that feels better!

My husband and I have been together for over forty years and I can honesty say that not one Valentine card has there been from either of us! Cards aren't everything. Made us a nice dinner though.

Forgetting to send a Valentines card is really no big deal. My ex was too busy to send me one years ago. I often wonder how she's getting along nowadays....

well that over you only two more to remember this year HIS /HERS /ITS BIRTHDAY, WEDDING/ ENGAGEMENT, ANNIVERSARY Then xmas but you get lot of hints on that one lol

I love stockings and suspenders!

....but my wife thinks I look ridiculous in them

I really dislike valentines day. It's just a big business event IMHO. Everything overprice in the shops and one has to be romantic on demand.

I don't need a calender to tell me when to be romantic. Ask my wife!

I can't wait to get home and get the wife's knickers off ... the elastic's killing me :shag:

:lol-061::lol-053::lol-053::lol-053::lol-061: I liked that a lot :lol-053::lol-053::lol-053::lol-053:

First time round, I got married on Valentines day. "How sweet" some may say, but from a practical point of view; it's much more difficult to forget the anniversary and one meal for two occasions - cost effective!!

Like the way you think. I suspect deep down you have some Yorkshire blood in there!!

Funny you should mention that, there's some Yorkshire and some Scottish blood a couple of generations a go.

Hmmmmmmmmmm!!

I keep finding wrapped chocolate hearts

:)
It's gone Valentines day, but I keep finding heart shaped chocolates in my pockets!!!
'er indoors' has been through my clothes (looking for my loose change probably) and placed chocolate hearts in my pockets!
Got to work (on my motorbike) today, only to find a chocolate heart in my motorbike jacket pocket, not sure where they will turn up next!!!
