Hi thinking to go to the south of france in sept not been for a long time has anybody got the price of the toll roads regards trevor

It is worth buying a good French road atlas, I use the Michelin because it shows the sections of Autoroute that are free.
I spent 23 days in France last summer, travelled to the south of France and did not pay a single toll. I mainly used the N roads which are not as fast but I am never in a hurry and I like to see the towns and villages.

september is the ideal time the wether is usualy good and the wind has droped most of the grockles have returned home but facilitys are usualy in full swing
enjoy your break away

Enjoy it Budgie,
Forget the 'péages', buy a Michelin atlas and take de N's.
You will loose a little bit time but gain in expieriences.

Just a small aside to this thread. Many of the RN's have been handed to the various departements and a by product of this is that they have been renumbered to 'D' roads. In most cases part of the N number has been incorporated into the new number.
