This could be useful if it takes off: for travelling in France outside of the main holiday season.

One of the most annoying things about French campsites is the fact that the vast majority are only open during the summer months whilst remaining closed in Spring & Autumn when a stay is often more pleasant than during the heat of July & August. Now a French company has come up with a concept...

Sounds a good idea.

Could be copied here, but anything 'unattended' like that in our land of Hope and Glory might be in danger of trashing by latter-day staycation 'Costa Brits'?

But we do have security cameras etc. these days and I guess a lot would depend on where they were set up?

I'm such a cynical, grumpy old git! Maybe they would work OK in the UK as well?
