Some of these translators (e.g. Babel-fish) for are only good for a laugh
(translated once 'ommelette aux fines herbes' = 'ommelette with fine grass')
But this one is more or less 'serious' ( you only have to translate the directions for use from Dutch into English - nevermind Ingrish ....:cool:)

I bought one of those pocket translators a couple of years ago, had "14 talks" on the box it came in, so I was wondering about it even before opening the box.

Some funny phrases - in the romance section - "I want to be your slave", "I have paid for a room shall we adjourn", and just before the translator gets put where the sun does n't shine "I shall look back on this night memorably". I can just imagine reaching for the translator and typing in "Oh yeah baby" and getting the local equivalent of "Yes my child" - still handy if you are a vicar i suppose.

Had many a happy hour trying to get the most outrageous translations, and never used it for real.
