Bittersweet evening...

Our transit has moved on to new owners,...

I'm glad it's gone to someone that will hopefully enjoy it as much as we did.

BUT big part of me will miss that bus and the memories we made with it.

Sold my VW T5 on Sunday. Sold to a cousin so know it wil be looked after. Had over 8 years of adventures in it created many memories. It’s taken me to some beautiful parts of Scotland and it’s islands. New owner picks it up on Sunday and will definitely have a tear in my eye when it drives away.

Sad but as they say onwards and upwards

That’s our much loved VW T5 sold. New owner just drove it away. Perfect time to sell and got 3 grand less than we paid for it 8 years ago. Will se how we get on without a camper and if we miss it that much we’ll buy a Crafter and convert it.

The bug will bite again , sometimes it's all down to timing and situation, but only 3 grand depression in 8 years is a good result.

Over the years oh how I used to look forward to your truly amazing photographs and of course your ever continuing efforts with you trusty Transit.
So sad that such a very capable self builder has now left the self building fold

However ill still be tinkering with the Ducato Moho...

And taking a few snaps along the ways.
And still have a hankering for a 4.7m Crafter with some chunky tyres ;-)

Trouble is with 5 series landrovers, 2 50cc scooters, 1 classic caravan and the motorhome AND the now gone transit...

Things were getting crowded.
