tragic death

just read a terrible story of a wild camper who has killed his wife in their van, after being disturbed by our boy racer friends(yes we have all been there)he moved to another car park ,fell asleep was dreaming about having one of the boy racers in a headlock (if only)woke up to find his wife dead, the trial continues

Thought this was some kind of sick joke until I looked up the Yahoo! news page and discovered that it actually happened - in Wales - but haven't yet plucked up the courage to show Jenny. On a serious note, we always carefully examine every spot we might stay in and if there are signs of graffiti, broken glass or tell-tale tyre/skid marks we move on.

This is a bizarre one off,to be put in the same boat as sleepwalking murders.
I really don't think the fact they where wilding has much bearing.Who hasn't woken up in the middle of the night by a strange noise at home and then lain awake listening in case someone was breaking in.
Normal people then don't suddenly wake up a couple of hours later and murder the nearest person.

Very very sad story, though I must be honest I have shown it to Mrs Thoughts and told her that it now looks like I can get away with murder, she has been very nice to me ever since :)

Could that defence be used in a case of speeding?

It may be useful for you know who. :D

He`s not exactly sane is he?

Just seen the verdict - the unfortunate man was cleared and it seems the prosecution didn't really have their heart in the case because of a sleep disorder syndrome that he has been coping with for years. I think that living with the knowledge of what he did (and admitted to straight away) is more than enough punishment for someone who was in reality a loving family man. Let's all be grateful, we don't have to cope with what he has to.
