Hi All,

dont ask me why but it was really busy here at Dover yesterday - lorries and TIRs all over the place.

When I went home the queue of parked/waiting lorries on the A20 was half way to Folkestone and waiting patiently amongst them was a motorhome!

When the port is congested with freight the police try to alleviate the problem by parking the lorries on the
inside lane of the A20.

The A20 is a dual carriageway so there is no need to wait with the lorries - just pull out into the other lane and proceed to the port as usual and go past all the lorries. This will save you a lot of time!!

Have a look at my website for other information about Dover and Crossing the Channel.

Had to be a British numpty we just love to join a queue !

Hey!, it was the best holiday I had, never drove more then 100m a day, no wondering where I was going to camp, and best of all egg and bacon sarnies everyday, not a croissant in sight. By the time I got to the ferry it was time to come back, saved a fortune. ;)
