Traction Tracks

OH just bought a pair of hinged heavy duty plastic traction tracks in Asda for £5. They are 60cm x 18cm x 1.25m, and for use with vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. If you wanted longer ones, you could use 2 pairs together for £10, still cheaper than the yellow ones we bought originally, which do not fold up, and are not paricularly good.

When using these remember to fasten to the rear bumper ( or front bumper if reversing ) with a length of rope so that you can drive to a better position and not forget your traction tracks.
A better buy is an old bread crate cut into 2 strips you can always drive off and leave these if needed. and replacement is free

Have you read the thread about bread trays?:scared:

Don't fancy besmirching my good name for the sake of a bread tray - and these foldy thingies will fold down to less than A4 size.

Just picked up some of these in Asda - very timely as it's just started snowing here. Hope we can get to Stonehenge tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up marydot.
