Towing Electric Problem ?

Any help re this problem please ?

All our towing electrics work Ok but when we have the side lights on, then indicate, the side lights alternately flash in the indicator cycle !

Any ideas please ?

Haven't had a chance to look but I am wondering if it may be a bad earth ???

Definitely an earthing problem ,
You dont say what your towing but i would say that the problem is on your towed vehicle.

Nope, isn't the towed vehicle as I have used a mates electrics to check this and all is Ok ........ thanks any way.

Anyway,thanks all for the quick and helpful replies ............ Guess it's gonna be the earth I'm looking at !

if it's a 12n socket mark it's a white cable going to the no3 terminal try and take one straight to the chassie it's probably been fitted with a scotch lock into the wireing loom now

bad earth

just follow all earths and good rub with sand paper could be a lose bolt

Could it not be in the 7 pin plug? could you ask someone else with a towing vehicle to check it out?
