Towing a trailer in Europe

Evening peeps. Raining here in Stirling.
I wish to extract some info from the brains of those with much more experience than us, on driving in France (Europe) towing a small trailer behind our Boxer campervan, please.
Any useful tips, warnings etc. would be welcome. Thanks in anticipation. D&B

If your trailer is over 750kg you may need to register it.

You must register all trailers over 750kg to drive to or through most countries in Europe.

The link doesn't state wether the 750kg is laden or unladen.

And it must have a breakaway chain fog lamp and number plate, so many trailer boards dont do if trailer over a certain size and width.

Quite surprised really as the trailer # plate has to be white motorcycle size with black letters. Next thing they will need testing.

OK if the oven's been pre-heated, should be cooked through and hard enough for lights loads ...
