Towbar
Hi Navigator, I have a towbar which might be what you are looking for. Our MH is a Ducato based Kontiki 640 with ALKO chassis, 1997 vintage. Its 7ft 1in wide made from 3inx11/2 hollow section steel tube backed by 2in x 2in angle iron bolted to two substantial brackets that bolt to the chassis members. We have no intention of towing and want to reduce rearend weight. Its in sound condition, painted white and I will try to attach a photo but as I`m not computor savvy it may not come off! The van is now midway between Wolverhanpton and Stafford, £75 and you remove it, I`m nearly 76 so my days of crawling underneath are over. Any good to you?
