Touring Britain

Has anybody made a tour of Britain? Is there any one planning to make this trip in the near future?
 
Yes we are, setting off 1st week of June, really looking forward to it.

How long are you giving to the trip?ausies can "do" britian in 5 days , i guess you might take a bit longer.
 
Boy, I wouldn't want to 'do' that rush treatment. The hidden byways are often things I most enjoy.

Done it several times, in a matter of fact, I’m not a happy person if I can’t do it at least ones in 3 years. It’s the place I always want too come back to, especially Scotland, imo the best RV country in the world.
 
hi wee koppit, got challenged by touring israelies in N.Z. on the time factor. they had completed the nrth &sth island in ten days, i,d taken ten weeks and still need to go back for the bits i missed.each to their own but ticking of the top sights is not for me either but it is done.
just been in wester ross (scotland) for 5days and only covered 100miles ,so many good sights that travelling far in 1 day is difficult, as yet another great camping spot appears.
 
we are doing it starting the 29th july for 2 weeks for our honeymoon, :p

we had our honeymoon in our van last year
in scotland of course.
I agree with cornelius best rv country.
long trip planned for this year as we have missed out the last 2 years
