made me feel hungry, kept thinking mmmmmm the smell of fish and chips is nice!!!

I've been running my Movano van on waste veg oil for the past 2 months. Costs a fraction of the price of diesel, runs quiter and smoother, gets more mpg and smells lovely. ;)

i aint been able to get waste yet, so i got a lot from tesco when on offer, at 90p a litre....mixed in a little petrol and went for a spin. i really want to start making my own wvo, esp for the eurotrip next year. i will get a little less mpg and bhp but it is huge savings.

Keep your eye on ebay. Just type in WVO.

When I was using 50% new veg oil in the Iveco (2.8 turbo diesel) I reckoned I was getting slightly better MPG, with the happy bonus of a van that smelt like freshly made do-nuts. I only stopped using it due to a government conspiracy that made veg oil more expensive than Diesel.

you do have a inline filter before your fuel filter and carry a spare filter have read a lot of vegiie as my old bus was veggie it has been discussed a number of times and there are aa few toyota owners up north veggies (north=north of brum) active discussion on forum and lot of advice and cheap fuel notices when the supers have it on special offer
