Too good to be true??

Spotted this bargain on eBay; must be legit as the seller has 100% feedback of 6740?? Strangely, when you click on the feedback figure, an error message appears!

I've seen this kind of thing before, and they always seem to use the price of £5,800. I believe the police have investigated other instances; looks like it is still going on! You'd think they would use a more realistic figure than that, but they never do! What actually happens is you pay a deposit of £1,000 to reserve it, and a viewing is arranged. This turns out to be a no-show, and it's goodbye to your deposit!! Tried to report it to eBay, but it doesn't seem to fall into their categories.

Ebay are terrible for that, they only seem to respond if it ends up on TV or in papers, i tried to report someone but like you say, if it dont fit into a specific cagtagory you cant report it, thanks for pointing it out tho Mary, its terrible to think theres gunna be loads loosing money, i for one wouldnt fall for it but people do and its obvious or they wunt keep doing it

What I can't understand is how, when they are intelligent enough to hijack someones eBay account, like the unfortunate lawnmowerspareskltd account, (who is having a really bad time with it trying to close the bogus pages down, only to have another one pop up) they do not put a more realistic price on, like maybe £16,800?? Low enough to look like a bargain, and still be believable. £5,800 is ridiculous to anyone who knows even a tiny bit about MHs. Obviously, it DOES work, or they wouldn't keep trying it!!
