Tonight

Channel 5 @ 8:00. Million Pound Motorhomes.

Definitely one to miss.:)
What about the plonker who converted the double decker bus. They get 5mpg and have 275 litre tanks. So currently it would cost around £500 to fill the tank, and they would get 300 miles on a full tank. That’s £1.67 a mile

But I enjoy watching the programme.

For once I thought someone had done a good job of the double decker bus. It was nice. However totally impractical especially as they were talking about going to Devon of all places in it.😬

However I wonder if thats true. It was such a good job and I was gobsmacked how little money it had cost them. He clearly knew what he was doing and I bet that bus will end up sold and being used on a glamping site where I imagine it will demand north of £200 a night rental.

Barry he had to pass his HGV costing £1500 in order to drive it.
When they took off a chair came flying down the stairs.
I don’t think much thought was put into this.
Also tyres are £800 a whip, and god help him if he gets mechanical issues, I don’t reckon quick fit will be able to get it up on a ramp.

i once worked on a d/decker and didn't like it . up and down those skinny stairs ,all those windows heating it up like a sauna and low ceilings .
the guy bought it off a 'safari'' company for 8 grand ,main attraction being the upper frame could be dismantled for low bridges .at the time you could buy a bus for 2grand . it was a good days work to take it all apart then rebuild it . i thought the whole idea was crazy. to me it was a big lumbering white elephant
