Tom Tom XL IQ Routes install POI's

Hello
Has anyone successfully installed the POI data available on this site to a Tom Tom XL IQ routes.
I have had several attempts.I have downloaded the files/unzipped them/copied them and thought I had managed to paste them into my device but cannot find them in the device.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong.

I have copied them to my TomTom One XL with no problem. You put the .ov2 and.bmp files into the map folder on the TomTom, in my case it's the Western_and_Central_Europe folder.

Don't you find that.You struggle with something for ages then put it to one side and come back to it next morning and the solution comes easy.
Maybe it's an age thing.

I'm glad it's working now, John.

Look out for the March release of the wiild camping database and POI download.

There'll be lots and lots more places.

Note that it will be a complete replacement for what you have already downloaded.
