Toll roads in France?

Right now we're in England, but starting to plan our return to France (and eventually to Sweden). It's been over 10 years since we've been to France and back then there was a sign at the border that informed about which roads were free and which were toll roads. Not so this time, we have no idea if we'll have a bill to pay when we get back home, if so probably a very expensive one.

Does anybody know how this works nowadays?

Not sure how up to date this is, but I reckon it's close enough. Helps with planning at least.
Pay as you go, no need to get home to a bill.

I got a Bip&Go tag with the help of GMJ and can confirm the 4€ discount, it cost 16€ ( £13.10 ) instead of the usual 20€ and only took 7 days to arrive from France.

Based on my last visit to france in 2019. You cant run up a bill. Once you are on the toll road you have to pay to get off, so there is no bill later on. It's the same as the toll part of the M6 if you've ever been on that.

You can get a Tag as well. It eases your passage through the toll booths.

I have one with Bip&Go https://www.bipandgo.com/en/ which worked faultlessly during our trip in Jan-March.

Drop me message if you decide to go for it and we can both get 4€ off :)
We're going across in a day or two, also we're heading fairly straight to Sweden, so we just wanted to know if there are any toll roads in that direction. Which there doesn't seem to be :)

Think the only tolls you'll have on route will be the bridges in Denmark.

Don't think the toll tunnels in Belgium and `Netherlands are on the direct route north.
