Sat here on this very cold afternoon, and stareing at the pressies under the Christmas tree, thinking as I have done every year over the years, wonder what's in the little packages and do I or don't I have a peek or a rattle or peel back the paper
Things haven't changed since a young boy, and Angie is out, so very tempted but once again I will suffer and wait until the big day, after remembering the thick ear Mum gave me as a youngster for doing just what I am thinking of doing now
Ah well, have a bottle of beer instead.

Anyone else still like to peek? come on truth now.

If you hold them up to a strong light you can sometimes see what is inside.

Shaking is good as well and feel the weight. Does it bend? To remove sticky tape without a mark use a little cellulose thinners on a cotton bud and moisten the tape, it will then peel easily. You can always put some new stuff on in the exact same place.

Yes We are guilty,i blame the wife though as we have been opened 3 presents over the last couple of weeks

Interesting? well I have a draw full of unused hankies and socks from previous years, for the reasons that I use tissues and the socks are too small or too big
I try hard not to give in to temptation these days, because you can tell if you are getting a CD or DVD, shirt or jumper, so these sort of items should be packaged in larger boxes, so you can't tell.

last year she gave me a bremmel tool set...****... i hav't used a tool fer 50 years

so this year.. she gets chocies and a visit to January sales.
and then if i have any money left,
she will buy me a new battery for my golf trolley

Whats spoilt the surprises now is internet shopping. The memsahib is in when postie or DHL deliver.
