Just got back from our latest jaunt on the Continet.

The slow meander up to Calais from the loire valley was made more interesting by the total bemusement of johnny foreigner watching the jubilee street parties taking in place in the rain.

I think the kindest thing said to me was "You English, a bit strange - yes?"

When I find the time I will produce - Aires on a shoestring 5.

Hi Dezi, I think Jim is really glad to see you back !!!! He is only annoyed because he cannot figure out how you got past those guys at Border control. Nice to have you back and the repertoire begin. Will miss your remarks as I am off until end of September on the 24th of June. I try not to look into PC's when I am away. Anyway, Welcome back.

Aah Thats nice, the gentle welcoming words as always from our northern friends.

I miss it when I am away, a bit like I miss the Montezuma's Revenge I had several years ago when visiting those climes.
