Tips required for a tour in France

We're new to the joy of Motorhoming and have booked a ferry crossing to Calais at the end of July. We haven't any ideas of where we're going or where we're staying apart from the other couple who are going with us want a day in Eurodisney.
Can anyone give us any tips of where to go, what to see or where to stay?
We're away for 12 days in total.

A very bad time to come to France, the whole of France goes on holiday in August, so everywhere is extremely busy especially coastal regions. I'd stay inland and check out some of the smaller towns, like Bergerac. I also doubt very much if you get to do Eurodisney in one day. Sorry to be such a pessimist! Have a good holiday
