So has the ever wonderful Trevor, for that matter :D

He got me sorted with posting pictures and I still have to refer to his post

I'm sure that if we all took the trouble to read the FAQs that the answer is in there, but then again, who does bother 'cos I know that I don't :D

Map idea

Another idea:
When you post a wilding spot you can pinpoint it exactly on the map of http://www.gpscoordinates.eu/determine-gps-coordinates.php
Copy the coordinates and paste them in your message.
Then others can find location back on the above map (or satelite view) by re-introducing these coordinates. You can even add this as POI in your GPS.
http://www.multimap.com/ is even better for satelite and mapping (giving Ordnance Survey sections for the UK), but you cannot get coordinates.
Open both sites on half screen; look for the same location on both maps. Open in Multimap the Ordn. Surv. map. Print it off, and you have an excelent walking map for the area. (this only works for England and Scotland)

Good post ,Leo, but you can get co-ordinates on Multimap:rolleyes::p,, just pinpoint the spot in question and right click on it,then click "move map to here", then scroll down the page and you will find the co-ordinates of your chosen spot, as well as Grid ref. and post code;).

Give it a try

Some more good ideas to help all perhaps a tips section in the community
