I purchased a 1999 Nissan Elgrande and since then I have added features, painted the cupboard, as ewes a new set of curtains, built a permanent bed and added a few few home like features. I love camping but being of a certain age found it more difficult every year to get out of that tent in the morning. I did have a 31 Foot motorhome back in the U.S.but I didn't think this would be workable with the narrow roads here in the UK. So my hunt for a van began, after looking at many I bought this one as I liked the width of the van, the fact it was an automatic and a lot of the inside work had been done. It does have a rather large engine but I really do get not to bad MPG. Sorry I have tried to add pictures but for some reason it would let me, mind yu iknow more about cars etc thank do about computers, which is a little different for a female.

I got them online at eBay, believe they were £39.99 and are a Universal Fit. I am looking at getting ones that are made for the van though and j can get them from Perth, think it's called Dickson?? I was quoted £99.00 for them. I can put them on from the inside which would be better for me as a single lady and easier if it is raining outside.

Hi Easterndawn, I saw in one of your posts you are having difficulty finding spare parts for your E50 Elgrand. There is also an Elgrand Owners forum which is really helpful and can help you find parts, they also help with any problems you may have and all the members are friendly, they also meet up for camping now and then. I went to their site and I am going to give them a call and see if they can locate one for me or if there is one that I can reconfigure to work, it's due its MOT next month and I don't want it to not pass as this is my only vehicle.
