Yes it's Thursday, and now I'm going to load up the van, and have a few days out at last, :lol-049::lol-049::lol-049: before the men in the white coats get here:ninja:

We've just loaded up too, will be setting off a bit later on, don't know where to exactly, but the peak district somewhere, enjoy your trip.

Lorraine is just sorting our van out , I will be loading food and other bits and bobs Tomorrow , weather is supposed to be fine but cold so topping up eberspatcher with diesel also ;)

We're near Clitheroe at the moment giving the new (to us) MH it's maiden voyage. Surprised at the quality of insulation, been well toasty at 17 degrees inside whilst -3 outside.
See you tomorrow at Glasson guys. Looking forward to it.

Camped up on a farm at Bolton by Bowland just us and another MH on the other side of the field. Stunning spot with views of Pendle Hill. It is white with frost this morning and blue skies.
Went to Cowmans sausage shop yesterday, so this morning's breakfast is pork with chestnut sausages. Cowmans do about 50-60 different sausage, always worth a visit. Also bought Borewoerst and Cajun Pork.
Meal at the Three Fishes in Great Mitton, a real culinary delight. Really busy at lunchtime which is usually a good indicator.
It's not a bad life this MHing malarky is it?;)

My first night, I stayed at a CU at Salterfoth on the side of the Leeds Liverpool canal. Lovely quiet night and a walk along the canal with my beasty, but by eck it was frosty, but toasty in the van. Now at Glasson dock, cold but really sunny.:dog:

Yep, tidy site that one.

The Coach and Horses aint too shabby for fodder either and you can walk there and back.

Cheers

My last night I spent at Keswick, Took Tinka for his last walk about ten, very cold, calm and a sky absolutely loaded with stars, what a show! Up this morning and its a bit breezy and it's been snowing, but, it's a bit less cold.

Brrrr Debs

you are brave . Glad you enjoyed you few days on the road . See you around . Jeff & Lorraine

Love the Three Fishes Ral. Was a great favorite of ours when my wife was still alive.

Just up the road the Inn at Whitewell used to be a lovely place to go, with excellent food as well.
