Just had almost three weeks in France and Spain.
It was only our second time travelling in the camper and despite all the grief she has given us over the last few months she didn’t miss a beat, clocking up 2,500 miles.
As Hubby used to drive lorries over in Europe he knew the roads routes and remembered most things and is a very competent driver so felt ok 👍
We decided the time scale we had it would be best to use motorway and tolls as we wanted to go down as far as the Pyrenees and into spain. It did work out expensive but we knew this.
As well as kayaking in the gorge du tarn (not me I paddled) 😆… we watched shooting stars over the pyrenees headed towards roses and stayed a few days then onto Barcelona.
We ate lots drank maybe too much sangria but enjoyed it all…
Now deciding where next ?

I’m now tackling a pet passport for newest member to the family and I hear it’s a long process 😨

Haven't you just missed your chance with the pet passport? You have to get one in the EU and it is becoming increasingly difficult, although I hear there are still a couple of good vets in Bruges who will do one.

Well done Jac sounds like you had a great time. Is it really only the second time you've been out in the camper, or did you mean on a long holiday?

Regards to the tosser x

Can’t be second time full stop, it’s years since I was parked opposite at a Hereford meet next to Charlie

Hahah the long holiday 😂 it was only our second time across the channel in the camper… the vans been a pain in the backside this year giving us lots of problems but we like her again now 😂

Think I’m jet lagged we drove two long days from Barcelona to Calais … it’s tiring being a passenger catching flies whilst sleeping 😴

Well done Jac, glad you both had a good time.
It’s a shame you didn’t have time to slip into Portugal, you could easily have bought a EU Pet Passport for about 17 to 20 euros. You could then traverse the Channel without having to fork out for an AHC.
