p.s. aup lamegate is that landliner of your on the road? i am thinking of having a couple of nights up your way at the ok corral they have got a couple of western groups on next month on the friday and saturday nights cheap beer and bingo!!!

If you mean Croft, then I could be tempted. Young BarryD would be welcome as well (somebody has to buy the drinks).

Are you sure that you would not prefer the RocknRoll weekend? You must be sick of cowboys, living in Donny. That young reprobate Channcer could be tolerated for a weekend I suppose. Drag him along (as long as he minds his P's and Q's).

Back on topic: Dexy, it is essential to bathe birds to prevent disease. The Owl was probably enjoying the bath.
 
hi jim i have just phoned and booked 24/25 feb will still be cold so i booked a leccy spot he sez beers 25/- :dance:

I have spent all week being nice to you & your bent mate oop norf in Newcastle & now you have started the insults all over again.

I was even thinking of joining you at the wheel tappers & shunters do in Croft & buying you a small shandy. Proper miffed I am.

:scared: desmond i wouldn't expect a gentleman of your age and stature to travel that far north at this time of year,however we will be venturing south some time in the summer again and would like to meet for a sherry and pie and peas at some point:p
