Helens son got a job with the ambulance service in Lincolnshire, so has been living full time in this truck that he converted, he has bought a new house but this won’t be built until September,
He has just had a weeks annual leave and been staying with us. Today he went back to Lincoln ready for work again tomorrow,
Unfortunately when he got back to where his truck is kept, this is what he came back to.

Just hope the water doesn't get any deeper. He may have to wade out to it and drive to higher ground, although Lincoln isn't renowned for high ground.

Oh bloody hell. If its on a field and the highest part has the water been any higher and is it going down or up?

Not a great idea being on grass this time of year and certainly not near flood areas.

He needs to check the air pressure, if it still up then get a tractor to pull it out.

If the air pressure is down check air intake is clear of the water then start the engine and build pressure before the tractor gives it a tug.

If the air intake is below the water level you have 2 choices
A) wind the brakes off and get a tug with a bar
B) leave it there and wait.

As Kev said, the air intake should be behind the cab, looks like it is.

The air intake behind the cab is only a piece of trunking, when you tip the cab this part stays on the cab , it only has a friction fit on the air cleaner trunking which is really low on the chassis,
I would think the air cleaner is possibly full of water and wouldn’t advise starting until you had a look in there,
Also check the fuel tank as you don’t know how high the water has been ,
Rear axle and gearbox have breathers on so possibly water contamination in them as well

Could be, but I would think the air cleaners would be on the top of the engine so probably OK.
