I have pics of the vessel "The World" berthed at Leith Docks, wasn't there the night before, then passing the following day, I thought an apartment block was constructed over night, massive vessel.

Oh how the other half live!!

I went from that mode of holidaying to motorhoming, loved cruising but ran out of places to visit.

Bizarre.......

After seeing the floating hotel earlier, the Russian training vessel Mir sailed up river towards Rouen, unfortunately too dark for pics, and not under sail!!

A few years back we spent a couple of lazy days on the Cherry Farm aire at Heurteauville which is right on the banks of the River Seine.

Some of the vessels that passed were humongous :scared: from container ships that really shouldn`t have stayed upright to massive double deck open sided car transporters :rolleyes2:

Apparently they were brand new cars that are landed at Le Harve and then transported up to Paris on massive barges at night and all lit up :dance:
