Thinking of the weekend

well if you got sat nava nd dont feel comfortable then move on there are plent y to chose from and if you are tired enough then you sleep anywhere ihave done woke up one morning right beside railway line didnt hear thing all night but was close enough think it was old siding road

We have the same problem but Makers near plymouth has space if its not too far and it's only £6 per adult per night. A bit of a hippy site.Don't know if that would worry you but right by the sea.

I just checked Haven in Cornwall where we stay with the kids out of season for about £ 7 a night it an offer on this weekend at only £ 285.00 for 4 nights ! The world really has gone mad !

Good grief, thats 6 X more then a ferry to France. I guess to be fair, thats only for 90 minutes, :lol-053:

There is a slight possibility that we may pop down to Hayling Island on Saturday night - will let you know.

It certainly won't cost anywhere near what some of the sites are charging this weekend.

Hi Mandymops .....that site would of been perfect !!! the more hippyish the better ......but a little too far for us to travel for two nights. I agree with everyone about prices being high :scared:

Millie where about do you stay.......not been down that way before ???:drive:

I just checked another popular site near Newquay as a comparrison and they vary from £150.00 to £ 240.00 depending on pitch size and electric hook up etc as the cheapest without electricity !!!!!!
I just despair that famillies pay this much !

Double the top price and you've seven nights FUll board in bulgaria and beers only 48 pence a pint...lol

Crikey

I would expect you could stay in a posh hotel for some of those prices!:scared:

Hayling Island

The Hayling Billy pub has a board outside saying motorhomes overnight welcome electric hook up available.
Inn on the Beach car park I think will be £10 a night. Hope you all have a great weekend where ever you go.
We`re going to Exmouth for some lovely fish and chips with the Exeter crew then will wildcamp where ever the mood takes us.
Happy camping
Sue

Hi Sue....Are dogs allowed off lead on the beach do you know ??? I suppose everywhere is going to be really busy this weekend, I cant cope with crowds :scared: Im only taking himbenny because he's the driver :lol-053: and he makes a mean cuppa

Enjoy your weekend too and your fish and chips

Thanks for the info. Sue.

basildog - there is plenty of grass at Hayling Island.

We stay right on the beach at Hayling, it's one of our favourites - Water, toilets, showers and a pub and the Council encourage motorhomes which is great. Last I heard it was £8 ish for 24 hours.

Follow the A3023 right down to the Sea Front. Keep going straight on at the roundabout by the funfair. Turn right and go as far as you can to West carpark.

Shame we will miss you Sue but hope you have a great weekend.

Thanks Millie,

It sounds good to me......:)))))))))

£20 is about average.

That's what we were paying in Cornwall, apart from the CC site which charged £29 as we weren't members.

Not sure if this map is big enough to see but yellow area is dog friendly
