Hello All
Happy Christmas.
Just cleaning out the toilet cassette locker and have found a spring hanging down. Can anyone tell me to where this should be attached?
Also on removing the rear floor plate, there is a square of plastic over the drain hole. Why?
Also a round piece of pipe with a notch in it which I can see no reason for.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

I don't think the first part in is anything to do with the toilet, possibly a part that's become detached from something that's been stored in the cassette compartment?

Do you mean the loose cover in the floor immediately below the cassette?

Yes the rear loose cover
As standard the cover simply goes over a sealed recess, which collects anything that spills, it's a good place to clean thoroughly if you're getting smells. The fan option vents downwards through the recess which now holds a charcoal filter and out of the van floor. If your recess isn't sealed and has a hole in it then it's probably for this sort of accessory.
Here's some beardy guy installing one.

I'm sure someone will post a picture soon of where that spring attaches.
