Our daughter and her boyfriend borrowed our campervan for the first time 5 to 11 December and went to the Lake District, only got stuck in the snow twice! They were at the Wasdale NT campsite and after the first night the NT guys advised they move due to snow forecast and recommended The Screes Inn, Nether Wasdale, Cumbria
CA20 1ET, Tel/Fax 019467 26262, email info@thescrees.co.uk - where they parked in the car park for 2 nights, even got a hook up for a few quid, plus they enjoyed the pub grub and beer.
Despite the cold and snow they had a great time and have some fantastic photos.
