LOL! I have often pondered if I would dare take the Kayak down there on the back of the scooter but I suspect it would end in tears. The photos dont do it justice as to how steep it actually is. Ive only ever seen landrovers and tractors go down it.
We were there years ago when they filmed "Victoria" on that beach.

Yup it's deff steep AND sandy/damp ....
Especially when running oversize 900x16 tyres ...
BUT 2nd gear in low box wasn't an issue even lightly loaded (just the hounds in the back lol )
Lovely spot though ....I miss our times staying at the slightly eccentric
"Bobby B's " campsite at Burton Fleming
The owner Robert was a true gent ....big BIG into his recycling and repurposing stuff ....
First time we stayed there on a landrovering weekend we were instructed to go past the library ....and the lion enclosure
Turn left at Tinkle cottage
Carry on past stone henge and the giants chair ....
Library was a phone box filled with books to borrow
The lion enclosure was 2 stone lions in a enclose with hens in it
Tinkle cottage was the gents toilets in a old grain silo
Stone henge was a recreation of stone henge
The giants chair was a 10 foot tall dining chair ....
Lovely place .....sadly the owner ended up with Prostate cancer and then Parkinsons
When he passed the family didn't want to continue with his work
Many happy memories of Hunmanby gap etc etc
