Do we have many of you living in the midlands like my self?

Living in Coventry and working very hard, I cant wait to get away when I can.

Within the hour we can escape to derbyshire or the Cotswolds.

So just wondering who is near me, should we all catch up and where are faviroute escapes?

When we were caravanners, we used to head out your way - Lower Lacon Pk, Wem - we used to enjoy that, but that was 70mile away.

Since we have seen the light! now having our kontiki - we dont always need sites.

I'm Midlands'ish in Ross-on-Wye.

I head off to Somerset, Pembrokeshire, Brecon Beacons and the Elan Valley whenever possible along with occasional jaunts to the East Sussex coast where I used to live.

We're in Redditch, right in the thick of things!

Just come back from Scotland, did Arran & the Uists, and wish we could have stayed on Berneray for ever.

Can't think of one good thing to say about Redditch, ( maybe the road out of it!! ). Still, we try to get away as often as we can.

We are based in Gloucestershire, not sure if were Midlands or South West, but we do get Midlands Today on the box!

If we head off for the weekend it's generally straight down the M5, 2 hours and we can be by the sea in Devon or Dorset.:D

Hi Craig,
We are in Nuneaton, as I think you might already know. Our favourite short-run escapes are Derbyshire one way, and the Cotswolds the other..
We are off to Pickering show in the morning, even though the weather forcast is abismal!!:( Hoping to get on the 'disabled ' park, as hubby has the necessary blue badges, but I think it might well be full by the time we get there....but we taking our electric bikes in case we get stuck on a patch out the back of beyond.
Certain to find some accessory that I can't possibly live without, as I always do at these shows.
Wish we had some form of recognition badge, as I'm sure there will be loads of members from this site there.

Jackie:)

We're in Uttoxeter on the Blythe Inn car park waiting for our house purchase to go through so we don't really go anywhere at the moment except back to Dudley to see the kids.
