Hi folks

Sorry to bring this up again, but things change and people find stuff out, so I have to ask...anybody got any good leads for insuring a Renault T35 converted ambulance?

I'm getting asked for £400 fully comp, but I keep reading of people getting cover just over £100.

I know about Adrian Flux, Frank Pickles and NFU, but has anyone come across a better solution while staying legal? I need to get moving soon and cant fork out all that wedge as well as tax and MOT

Thanks. I'll be sure to pass on anything good to other (cool) forums:cool:

You've got the specialist insurers. You'll probably waste a lot of time chasing up other companies and still not get anywhere.
There is also Shield and they don't appear to be on your list.
Some people have found that vehicle insurance goes down if it is the 2nd vehicle... :D

Can honestly say that my insurance is £325 last year C class model:eek:

Motorhome Insurance

I got the Caravan Club offering to undercut my current deal last year - I was with NFU at £314 fully comp and the CC managed to come within a few squid of this with an identical package. I'm still with NFU tho.:)

I use Caravan Guard.... £230 fully comp and they throw in breakdown cover inclusive of this price.
I used to be with Park Home Insurance. Their quotes were always the cheapest i could get, but i changed to Caravan Guard because of the breakdown inc.
£400 is a ridiculous amount for an older home build van.

Coo - will have to get a quote from them. Thanks!:D

Because I don't want my panties taking down and given a spanking...

This is from another forum
