Hi everyone... I've just created a youtube review of what I think is the best portable motorhome / campervan projector.

Please do check it out and like the video if you enjoy it :). I know I wanted to know the best projector so after a bit of research I found a good solution
so hope this helps some people looking to add a bit of snazzy movie time into their new campervans :) 🎉🎉🎉

All the best

Exactly my thoughts mistericeman.

I bet most people have a TV in a large motorhome - but projectors can save space, be great for indoors/outdoors and are portable. Especially in my T5 I simply don’t have room for a large tv :).

Certainly takes up less space than a Tv.
The screen might also serve as a divider for the cab area.
Not for use but I can see its attractions especially in winter-time

I have a Halo projector and a 100” light block polyester screen that hangs from the awning facing in. Sound is good but I Bluetooth to a Bose portable speaker and the whole setup is epic. Works well even before full darkness.

I run it from an HD firestick and have also ripped loads of movies from Blu-ray onto an ex-fat formatted 1tb hard drive so don’t need internet to watch.

It also has bout 3 hour battery life so you can get a movie night without power as well.

Not cheap but soooo worth it, watched a Hobbit movie deep in the trees in Thetford Forest and the bit with the spiders in the Mirkwood was scarily realistic.

Looks really good but where does the signal feed come from
Presumably, anything that can output an HDMI signal -- e.g. Freeview STB, laptop, tablet, (possibly mobile phone with USB to HDMI adapter?).

That said, I've got a 20" 12v TV that looks a lot less faff than using a projector and it also cost (a lot) less than the M400. So I don't think I'll be going the projector route just yet...

Just watched a review of the new Samsung Freestyle projector, looks amazing, but comes with a hefty price tag £999 😬

There's a lot of cheaper options I was thinking it would be easily portable for use around the home
