This is our Hobby 700 which we've owned for just over a year now.

Now fitted with Gaslow, 2x11kg, 150w solar panel and 2x135Ah batteries and two reversing cameras. It's a joy to drive but a bugger to turn round unless you have a football field available:rolleyes2: Biggest trip so far is 3000 miles over six weeks April / May but it is also a big hit with the rest of the family and was in use last weekend for our grandson's birthday party down the shore on Walney.

Looks great, I could live in that which is my dream someday to just take off in my van and come back when I’m ready, don’t think I’d be much good at reversing that I’ll stick with my 6m . Enjoy.

wow,,,thats some van..........you could stick ours on the roof of that and it would look like a little dinky toy,,,,,,,,,,,lol

The manoeuvring thing isn't too bad but takes a bit of thinking about sometimes. Having two cameras helps with getting close to obstacles.

Nice looking van Harold, I have one reversing camera and I find it easier to manoeuvre mh than the car :)

I drove a Bt cabling unit for fourteen years Neil so I'm still very much a user of mirrors but the cameras are a good help. I have them on all the time so the vanishing car syndrome is largely overcome. They're only the cheapo Chinese ones, about £40 but they'll do until they go pop.

That is bigger than our village and a bigger population too by the looks of it. ;) Six/seven berth?

My camera shows down and in the immmediate rear Harold so great for parking up but not a rear view replacement. I have double mirrors and the top ones are convex(?) and brilliant for spotting anything around me. I know the mirrors were obtained from Mercedes as a previous owner told me he bought them and fitted, not sure who what or where the camera is.

No way José. Keep the little ankle biters out of it unless its raining. With a bit of piggery jokery I can make up a five berth, but I prefer to be unsociable.;)
