As everyone knows, local tip shops can be a goldmine. I picked up this galvanized roof rack for the grand total of £2, im pretty sure it is for a hatchback.
Cut it down to size.
My dad had some nice hardwood trim in the garage for years. Never chuck stuff out, it will come in handy one day!
Finished product.
On the van, i think it looks sweet. Ready for tents, awnings, chairs etc etc.
Moral of the story, Go check your local dump shop. I also picked up two half full camping gaz bottles and a old race bike which after a fix up rides like a dream.
