Since joining the club i`ve found quite a few tips, such as I now have in my tank forte fuel system cleaner a bottle of TEC4 ready for a fill up in a few weeks time, vinegar in the cooling system to get rid of corrosion ..And a tips on leisure batteries. A tip i would like to pass on, last week I had to have a new alternator fitted, simply because I had a slow drip of diesel from one of the injectors it was dropping into the alternator and had completely ruined it. So from now on when I check the engine oil i`ll run a finger under the injector unions to check for leaks ..Hope this is useful to someone.. I was charged £140 fitted at Marks auto electrics Burslem Stoke on Trent. I priced an alternator at Euro parts it was £171 fitting was extra.???
