Taxing problem

Hi

Heard today one of those government ministers on the radio and I'm sure I heard him say that vehicle tax will rise to 400 pounds for the most "polluting engines" within the next couple of years. What exactly does this mean? Yes it went up in the budget but I still see adverts in the local press stating "not effected by tax increases". What are the charges now and does anybody know what the future has in store for MHs, over to you Mr Brown then!

I taxed my VW LT28 2.0Ltr Petrol after the budget and it cost me £190 for 12 months. This has gone up by £10 from last year. I thought it was gas guzzlers that were going up to £400 (4x4 etc).
