tarifa in the summer

hi all,has anybody spent the summer wild camping in tarifa,i have 3 mths there every winter but never been in the summer,how keen are the gaurdia in the summer,do people use the pig field through the summer months

Hi mate where is pig field please?Im familiar with most spots as I kitesurf there a couple of times a year but planning on wintering there this year.

Down by "Spinout" seemed to be pretty popular but that was a few years ago.

pig field is just before the turning for punta poloma if coming away from tarifa. been told the old man died and the son is on about not letting the camping go on. could be false info . dont know. we stayed at punta poloma earlier this year .no probs . also runway beach was open . the barrier had been broken off . have to wait and see might all be no go again. best place was down on the military beach but thats been stopped nosw. cheers alan.

I always spend a week at Tarifa each year. I usually park right on the beach on waste ground. Move out at the end of the day and park up behind the Gas station on waste ground. No problems at all. Another spot is the dead end road where the Bullring is.
