Talbot express

Hi all, Can someone please tell if it is possible to fit a turbo diesel engine to my G reg Express,if so is a big job?

Also I am thinking about fit a ladder,roof rack and awning. How do you go about finding the wooden framework inside the skin to find the strong points? Or should I leave this to the pro's?

If you can source the right engine it should be possible, but what about the gear box, etc? I don't know but the ratios are important for a balanced unit! Are they not?

Hi thanks for your reply, I would change the complete unit gearbox as well as the engine

I had a 2.5 turbo deisel in this g reg talbot so you should be able to pick one up but dont know the cost

Alternatively TB in Lancaster may be able to fit an aftermarket blower. and re chip for max torque
