Talbot Express Scuttle

Hi hope someone can help, the dredded tin worm has got to the scuttle on my Talbot and on using the wipers in the rain the passenge wiper shaft started to head for the safety of the engine bay (out of the rain i presume). now i know that i can get a replacement but due to the present world economy i am skint, and besides i will need new wings etc. Stop me now?
So a quick bodge and a plate will have to do for now, so here is my problem i have started and have this great big hole were the wiper shaft used to be..........and you gussed it it is at this point i forgot the first tool i would need..the Tape Measure!
Please could some kind soul get out a tape for me and measure the distance between the Wiper drive shafts center to center in metric please thanks jon

Wow that was quick many thanks, dont think there is a difference in the scuttle, just wings doors and front panel and then it is mostly cosmetic not phyisical size from what i can acertain so should be good thanks again jon
