Talbot Express no 12 volt power

I have a problem with 12 volt power from batts No Power but can get power when on hook up i have checked fuses in zig unit but all seems ok and also batts are in good working order so could be the problem ?

Have you a rocker switch tha flips it from mains to the battery, If so it could be a loose wire behind that, i seem to remember a similar qurstion a few weeks ago and that was the answer, the switch was dirty at the back, ie a dirty contact not grubby, WD40 will clean the contacts . Hope this helps.

i had the same problem ...faultly rocker switch. I tried a few places to get one , every supplier i tried wouldnt sell to individuals only trade . I found them on e-bay and got them sent from china ! ..only cost a few quid and i got them within a week or so. There are no motorhome /caravan dealers near me so it was the easiest option. I have since seen them for sale in todds motorhomes at preston. On mine it was a latching three way switch made by plug in systems
