As ours didn't come with an awning (brackets are still on it but awning is sadly long gone)

I'm guessing it would have been a fiamma wind out one BUT what length I don't know??

Anyone know?

I would get the longest possible just make sure it doesnt foul the overhead bed window .

I would get the length you need notbthe longest, I’ve had two 6m awnings in big vans but the bigger they are the more suspect they are in wind. On the van I’ve just ordered I could have had 5.5, 5, or 4.5m but went for the 4.5.

Presume the brackets are on side wall of van? Fiamma F45 up to 500cm long there is only one centre support. Over that there will be 2 middle ones plus ends. There are very specific mounting points for the end brackets - when correct, the ends of the awning case will be in the region of 75mm past the end of the brackets. So to get the length just measure the distance to the end of each end bracket and add around 150mm. That's how we fitted ours (as per the instructions) and no issues at all. Worth comparing your brackets to the Fiamma ones but they haven't changed their mounting system in years as far as I'm aware Bob

Perfect.... Thank you for the info,

We have 4 brackets in total like this 20181202_120245.jpg

I'll have a proper measure when we're home again and start looking (and saving).

Hmm, 4 mounting brackets suggest a long awning. The awning box clips over the top and you should have 2 screw holes on the bottom part of the brackets - the screws go up through the brackets into the awning box - that's all that holds it but they are very secure. We've glued an awning rail immediately below our Fiamma awning so we can also mount our Kampa air awning so best of both worlds for us. Bob.
