Swift Kontiki 669 Registration :

Hi All

Has anyone on here owned or know of owners of this Swift Kontiki 669 tag-axle, Registration : REMOVED ?

It was sold to a dealer in Preston and we have put a deposit on the vehicle at another branch.

Dealer is currently having issues with the clutch so we are trying to speak to previous owners to add some light !

Please either post on here or PM me ASAP

Thanks

Why not ask the dealer for a look at the log book. It will have the owners name and address.

delete your reg of this post you dont know whose looking at it be carefull

Why delete the reg ...... ?????

No different surely to adding pictures to 'your van' section etc where the number plate will be on display!

Be interested to know why you think it matters displaying the reg ? Am I missing a con trick etc ???

Thanks

I agree, some get overly paranoid about this kind of thing.

Why exactly they think its a problem I don't know. If anyone wanted to clone a number plate all they have to do is wander around a dealers and write a few down, no-one is going to hunt around forums hoping to chance across a number :D :D

I think that you guys may be missing the point:D
In these days of stealing to order:eek: is it not possible to get the registered keepers name & address and then sell it before stealing it:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Personally, I always remove my number plate details, but it is up to each individual:D

Good point, had not thought of that :)
I still think its unlikely someone would trawl a forum or other site in the hope of finding a number plate but its a possibility I guess, Personally I won't be loosing any sleep over it but thanks ***** thats a good point :):)

Ok folks, agreed having thought about it to remove the registration .... you never know, eh!

Thanks

You're so right ***** .... for the UK that is.
Here in Belgium we have the opposite: licence plates don't go with the vehicle but with the owner (for life !).
If you see some Belgian with a Weinsberg MH and licence plates ENA-778 it's me ! Give a honk and I'll buy you a drink :) - unless some scum did steal my plates and the MH -
