Swap my 11kg refillable gas bottle for your 6kg refillable gas bottle

I have a very nice condition Gasit 11kg refillable gas bottle with some gas in it, but it doesn't fit the locker in my Pollensa. A 6kg one would fit so I want to find a 6kg refillable, either Gasit or Gaslow - same thing, different colour. If you have a 6 kg one and want a bigger one, get in touch.

Andrew couldnt you adjust the internal space up a bit to allow the 11 kg or is it the door size

I'd love it but Swift didn't make the bloody locker big enough, wish it was just the door as plenty used on ebay of different sizes.

I will have a spare 6kg one available in November
Hi Jeff, Where are you? November would be fine, I have two Calor bottles half full that will last me the next couple of weeks.
I didn't reply earlier because I didn't get a message saying there were replies. I hope you didn't think I was ignoring you.

I think the first suggestion would be the easier of the two.
They make strong, thick walled baloons don't they? . . . . .
I'll go and have a look at the furniture and have a think. I might have to make a frame fixed to the chassis. Perhaps I should get a new MOT first. Also I was in Jacksons of Old Arley recently and noticed that they now have lightweight refillable gas bottles, not SafeFill, another make which have attached tubes to refill from an outside filler cap. They weigh far less than a steel bottle which could be an advantage now I have a 100 litre fresh water tank. But but but they are unreasonably expensive. I like the idea of fitting the bottle I have already got, it would be lighter than two Calor bottles.

I have a composite 10kg bottle that looks like a Safe Fill but isn’t, it has a twin valve set up so it can be permanently piped in same as steel bottles. It is lighter than Alugas. I changed everything I could when getting weight off for down plating. Only thing is they don’t have the excess flow valve that my Gaslow had so you should turn bottle off when travelling
